First things first, round up your mates! At Dicky’s Darts, it’s all about the social scene. If you can throw a dart, drink a pint, and laugh until you cry, you’re already a winner in our books.

The Sacred Art of ‘Halve-It’

Forget the traditional rules of darts! Here at Dicky’s, we play a unique (and highly questionable) version called ‘Halve-It’. Not sure how to play? Neither are we, but here’s a rough idea:
  • Halve Your Score: After every round, halve your score, especially if you miss the board entirely (which we often do).
  • Bonus Points for Style: If you manage to hit the board while holding a pint in your other hand, you get double points.
  • Mystery Round: Each game includes a mystery round where you have to throw a dart blindfolded. If you hit the board, it’s a miracle. If you hit the bullseye, you owe everyone a pint.

Beer: The True Champion

Let’s face it, the real reason we’re here is for the beer. Here’s the official drinking game alongside the darts:
  • Miss the Board: Take a sip.
  • Hit Someone Else’s Dart: Everyone takes a sip.
  • Land a Bullseye: Chug your pint.
  • Drop Your Dart: Finish your drink and apologise to your mates.

Bucket Business

We know, it’s not glamorous, but our venue lacks indoor plumbing. When nature calls, head outside and use the official Dicky’s Darts Bucket. Just remember, it’s one at a time and no splashing!

End of the Night Shenanigans

As the night winds down and your scores are all in single digits (or negative numbers), it’s time for the grand finale:
  • Declare a Winner: The player with the least catastrophic score wins the prestigious title of “Dicky’s Dart Master.”
  • Victory Dance: The winner must perform a victory dance while everyone else cheers (or jeers).
  • Bucket Duty: The loser has the honour of emptying the bucket. Gloves optional.
